While it may have been windy, cold and gray to some, for Estella Lopez, Monday morning could not have been brighter or warmer.
Estella, a future Austin Habitat homeowner, watched as volunteers from our house sponsor State Farm and media partner KVUE joined Austin Habitat staff and volunteers to raise the walls on her soon-to-be new home in Devonshire Village in East Austin.
The wall raising officially kicks off the 2008 Home for the Holidays–’tis the Season to Change Lives!
